Affiliation

Danka is a cultural network and relies on cultural centers and partner organisations to ensure succesful work.

Danka is developed within the frame of the culture branch of proloka, an Austrian based project platform for development and culture.

The Lahore Chitrkar was with Danka right from the beginning or actually even before Danka started. It supports Danka with valuable contacts to musicians and artists all over the country. Chitrkar also helps in planning and co-ordinating events and cultural projects.

The Annemarie-Schimmel Haus in Lahore supports Danka actively by promoting it in publications and through active work by one of its staff members.

The Alliance Francaise Lahore supported Danka from the beginning. One of the staff members helps to add events to the site.

The Trafford Council is a cultural partner in the UK. Trafford supports the Danka cultural network and represents an important link to the Pakistani community in the UK and Danka users abroad. It was also responsible that we introduced an Abroad category announcing Pakistani events worldwide.

The Danka project is based on the volunteer work of its members. All cultural centres and event organizers, distribution and marketing organizations are invited to participate and support this project.
